Breath of the Wild as Expected had taken the top prize at the 2018 Game Developers Choice Awards!
Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was honored with the Game of the Year prize at the 18th annual Game Developers Choice Awards that took place on the 22nd of March 2018 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
It also won awards for best audio and Best Design.
Studio MDHR also earned two awards for Cuphead being Best Debut and Best Visual Art.

The Lifetime Achievement Award recipient was Mr Grim Fandango himself Tim Schafer from Double Fine and LucasArts fame.
The Game Developers Choice Awards is created for and voted on by developers and honors the very best games of the year.
