Belgium government recommends criminal prosecution of EA over lootboxes in FIFA 18
After the Belgium government introduced a new law against lootboxes in games, many developers removed them from the local copies. Not EA. EA has gone to court in Belgium over that ruling, and the Belgium government has even advised that criminal prosecution is needed against EA.
PUBG PC player number dips below the 1 million count for the first time
For the first time since gaining enormous traction, player counts on PC for PUBG has dipped below the 1 million mark. This comes as no surprise on the week where Call of Duty released its own battle royale mode for beta testing, and the fact that Fortnite is still one of the most popular games in the world.

Speaking of COD, Blackout mode, the Call of Duty answer to battle royale games, was released to a lot of really good feedback last week. Many popular streamers flocked to the game to test it out, and many critics have been praising the innovative spin COD places on the genre
Wolfenstein 3 is in the works according to Bethesda
In a recent interview, Pete Hines from Bethesda, has confirmed that Wolfenstein 3 is “absolutely” being made. While there was no indication of a time line, it is safe to assume that the game is still many months, if not years away from release. But it’s good to know the franchise is not dead.
