Baldur's Gate 3 teased by Divinity: Original Sin developer
Yesterday Larian Studios placed a short video clip on their website of a stylised roman numeral 3 (III) being gripped by tentacles. You would be forgiven for assuming that the studio was teasing a sequel to Divinity: Original Sin 2, but some digging through the webpage's HTML by Twitter-er @kunkken suggests that the teaser is actually for Baldur’s Gate 3.
This has confirmed another older rumour from 2018, when a member of the RPG Codex forums posted that Larian founder and CEO Swen Vincke had “acquired the Baldur’s Gate license.”
If you download the video from the site, open it up in a text editor and go to line 5678 you find the following code:

Then, on line 5733:

We just have a short wait to go and hopefully we will get some kind of confirmation during E3.
Black Isle Studios and BioWare developed the first Baldur’s Gate and Interplay published it in 1998. The sequel, Baldur’s Gate II: Shadow of Amn, was published by Interplay and Black Isle Studios in 2000 and developed by BioWare it.
Both games, along with their respective expansions, were remade and received an "Enhanced Edition" from Overhaul Games, a subsidiary of developed Beamdog. The two remakes, Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, were published by Atari.
Beamdog also developed and published Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, an expansion for the Enhanced Edition of Baldur's Gate. It was the first new content for the Baldur's Gate series in 15 years and was set between the events of Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
