Stardew Valley multiplayer out on 1 August

ConcernedApe, the developer of Stardew Valley, has announced that multiplayer functionality for the PC version of the game will be launched on 1 August.

I avoided the beta — I learnt a long time ago that "beta" means "wipes all progress" and if I put that much effort into my farm, I want it forever!

Hopefully I can twist a few arms and get some friends into the game so I can make them do the hard work like planning the layout.

I want to spend days on end clearing the mines, foraging for wild ingredients and playing in the kitchen to make all the food in the game.
