At E3 earlier this year Bethesda showed off Wolfenstein: Young Blood a standalone expansion for Wolfenstein II: The New Colusses. The companty's Vice Presidient of PR and marketing, Pete Hines, recently had a chat with Metro.co.uk where he confirmed that another main title in the franchise is also in development.
Yeah, sure. Absolutely we’re making a Wolfenstein III. At the end of the day Wolfenstein did well for us, because we’re about to do two more Wolfenstein games.
This should come as great news for fans of the recently rebooted franchise and it's really cool to see Bethesda still being commited to deliver single-player experiences.
Hines also mentioned that Wolfenstein II did well for the company which is good to hear. Despite some issues it was one of the better shooters from 2017 and had some insane moments that players won't soon forget.
No mention was made of a possible release window for the sequel, but Wolfenstein: Young Blood will be available some time during 2019.
