Fallout 76 BETA has a nasty bug
For me, there is almost nothing I would not push through when playing a beta. We all know they can be buggy and nightmarish.
For me, there is almost nothing I would not push through when playing a beta. We all know they can be buggy and nightmarish. But I think Bethseda has officially managed to get the worst bug in the world.
A one button click, any button, any time, during the download, can cause the game to redownload the client from scratch.
PC #Fallout76 B.E.T.A. players: We are aware of an issue with the client and are investigating. Do not click any buttons on the client for the time being.

We know some users have been forced to redownload the #Fallout76 B.E.T.A. and not everyone will be able to enjoy the game tonight. To make good, we’ll be extending the B.E.T.A. for everyone on Thursday, November 1, 2pm to 11pm ET.

That is not their only issue thus far, their community forum has been offline and they asked that people use their reddit feed.
They have been relatively good about communicating with the player base via twitter and other social media. And have decided to extend ther BETA testing perod for another day.
