Step right up. Don't be shy. All Playstation Plus members come and see what games await you in December.

With the year flying to a close we are at least still confident that the monthly free games served to us will keep us busy during those days that we've just about had enough of our visiting cousins that we've had to entertain with all the family visits over the holiday period. Rest easy knowing that you may be able to quietly disappear and get a couple of minutes of gaming in before you are found and thrown back in the gauntlet of cringey baby photos and embarrassing childhood stories.

These are the games PS+ members will be getting access to from the 4th of December:

A follow-up to the sensationally scary Amnesia: The Dark Descent, SOMA is one part brooding existential sci-fi, one part nail-biting cat-and-mouse adventure. It manages to not only excel in the hide-and-seek horror genre its creators popularised, but go way beyond it.

From the twisted minds behind the hugely successful MotorStorm series, Onrush delivers a lightning-paced arcade racing experience that puts as much emphasis on trashing your opponents as overtaking them.

Other games also available:

Steredenn (PS3)

Steins Gate (PS3)

Iconoclasts (PS Vita + PS4)

Papers, Please (PS Vita)

All the above will be available to download on 4th December. Until then, you still have few days left to pick up any of last month’s games.

Yakuza Kiwami (PS4)

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (PS4)

Jackbox Party Pack 2 (PS3)

Arkedo Series (PS3)

Burly Men At Sea (PS Vita + PS4)

Roundabout (PS Vita + PS4)
